1. Head Circumference
Measure the head circumference where you expect the goggle to land on the forehead - typically an inch or so behind the eyes.
2. Muzzle Circumference
Measure the circumference of your dog’s muzzle where you expect the goggle to land on their nose - usually around the back of their mouth.

I’ve been putting these on my puppy and he doesn’t seem to mind them at all. I’ve been following the video that tells you how to train your dog to handle them and my puppy is doing fantastic.
Pretty solid design, looks good and adjustments are simple. It took our boy a bit to get used to as it did affect his peripheral vision. He stumbled over his ears a time or two which he hasn't done since his puppy days (Basset). But he seems to vibe with them now.
One of our GSDs got a stick in the eye after running through the desert, causing a serious injury. The vet recommended Rex Specs. It’s taken about a month of training to get them truly comfortable in the goggles, but they are learning to appreciate the protection from bright sun as well as spiky plants and blowing sand. We tried a cheaper brand from Amazon and immediately returned - Rex Specs are made with dog faces in mind and worth the cost. The training videos are helpful. Can’t wait to take them in the car and let them hang their heads out the window. Thanks for a great product!
My dachshund’s eye doctor recommended these, since my dog was born without irises - that means she can’t contract her pupils in the sun. I wish these were available in a slightly smaller size for a 9 pound dog, but this is a great product.
These are absolutely essential for my dog when we are pheasant hunting! After getting used to wearing them, she seems to hunt better and harder with them on. I notice tons of small scratches on the lenses after a few hours of hunting, but the lenses hold up really well and are easy to replace when they get too scratched up and the visibility becomes low. The goggles fit well and stay on even when my dog is tearing through all kinds of brush going after birds! Great investment.
