Ear Pro for Dogs

My dogs wear the ear protection like pros. It fits well and doesn't slide off even when they are running. Very satisfied with the product. Same goes for the Rex Specs I bought some time ago. But honestly didn't expect anything else. Love your company and quality products.👌

I bought this product for my senior greyhound for the fireworks. Where I live there are huge firework displays downtown as well as the roofs of casinos. They did not work for my dog. He still panted and shook for about two hours

We bought this for our husky-german shepherd-border collie rescue dog who is sensitive to all noises outside of her home. Putting it over her ears has been helpful for calming her down when she is overly stimulated by loud neighborhood noises, which often happens with her large, satellite-shaped ears. At first she did not like having it over her ears but after we associated it with treats, she now acquiesces to it and is fine with having it on her for 1-2 hours at a time.

I have two service dogs in training who are close to graduating to full duty. I purchased each of them ear protection for uncomfortably loud situations such as the movies, the gym, a shooting range if they happen to be with me or any concert. They are Black Mouth Cur mixes with the female (55-60 pounds) requiring a size 2 and the male (75-80 pounds) requiring a size 3.

Both are well constructed and appeared they would be comfortable with large cut outs for hound ears to fit, a good thing with my hounds. First test at home and neither dog complained about the apparatus. They did not seem to be uncomfortable with the ear protectors on and simply looked at me with expressions of, "Seriously. What are you putting on us this time?" I especially like the Velcro straps for securing eye protection.

A few days later, I took Gretel to the gym with me and used this to protect her ears from the loud music and clanging of dropping weights that have startled her in the past. During this outing, I noticed a couple of things that made me take away a single star. 1. While using the Ear Pro with two collars (nylon for her tag and prong for work), it kept getting pushed toward her muzzle until her eyes were being squinched partially closed. I kept adjusting everything, but we couldn't seem to get everything settled just right. 2. The other problem wasn't the Ear Pro's fault, but simply growing pains. Whenever I put her in a "down, settle", I had a really hard time getting her to realize it was time to get up and go to a new area. She was very hesitant to move about as she could not hear any obstacles. I was not concerned as I know she will adjust. However, buyers should be aware this might happen, and it is rather amusing.
