For the last year we’ve been working on the development of four new sizes. Our goal was to make sizes that would fit dogs as small as a chihuahua and as large as a Great Pyrenees. We can’t say that Rex Specs dog goggles fit every dog (pugs are still a challenge) but nearly every breed will be able to find a good fit. We can’t wait to share these new products with you!
This X-Large goggle is ideal for large blocky head german shepherds, Bernese Mountain dogs, large pitbulls and all sorts of other big broad-headed breeds.
- The spherical shape of the lens is a larger circumference than our original size large to ensure enough space for the dog’s eyes and facial features. The goggle will also wrap further around the head of these larger dogs to provide better peripheral vision.
- The frame has a broader nose bridge to accommodate wider muzzles.
- The frame is fully vented. Ventilation is covered with a breathable mesh to maximize airflow but keep out debris and dust.
- The frame is edged with durable three-layer foam for comfort.
- Added length to the strap should eliminate the need for a strap extender and improve the stability of the fit.
- New lens design includes two more fixtures on the sides of the lens to make sure the lens is secure in the frame at all times.
- All lenses are rated UV400.

This classic is back again! This size will still be the go to for many breeds. It’s amazing the variety of dogs that this size fits!
- Spherical lens wraps around the dog’s head to provide ample peripheral vision
- Frame is fully vented to maximize airflow and drain quickly for use in water. Ventilation is covered with a durable, breathable mesh to keep out dust and debris
- Dynamic strap system combines static nylon webbing and elastic to enable a secure fit while still allowing for full jaw motion.
- Lenses interchangeable and rated UV400 and ANSI Z87.1 2010 for impact.

We’re really excited to launch this size. There are lot of very active breeds that have been waiting for this option. Many hunting breeds such as spaniels, setters, and some smaller pointers will find a great fit in this size medium.
- The circumference of this lens and frame are quite a bit smaller than the size large. This makes for a lower profile fit on the dog’s face and allows the goggle to wrap further around the dog’s head to provide ample protection.
- Ventilation around the edge of the goggle provides necessary airflow and drains water quickly. Mesh covering ensures airflow and draining but keeps dust and debris out.
- The nose bridge as be tightened up to ensure a snug and stable fit.
- The foam around the edges is durable dense foam that will protect against dust and debris but still stand up to the test of days running through thick cover.
- The lens has seven fixtures around the edge make sure it doesn’t fall out in the field. It might be a little more difficult to replace but when it's locked in it’s solid and reliable.
- Lenses are rated UV400 and are interchangeable

This might be a little confusing at first but what used to be the ‘size small’ in 2017 is now called the ‘small wide’ in 2018. There are a couple of changes to this product other than just the name that we hope improve the fit and functionality.
- This size fits smaller breeds with flat wide faces best. Unlike the rest of our goggles, this goggle uses a cylindrical lens which helps the goggle fit on breeds will less of a nose. The top of the goggle will actually be forward of the nose in many cases to create room for the eyes while still sitting on little noses.
- Utilizes the same dynamic strap system as all the other goggles to ensure a secure fit while still allowing for full jaw motion.
- The foam covering the ventilation all around the goggle has been replaced with a more durable mesh in 2018. This new material keeps the dust and debris out while also allowing for ample air flow through the goggle.
- We also changed the foam around the edge of the goggle to a lower profile, more dense foam. This will allow for better peripheral vision, snugger fit to the muzzle, and lower profile appearance on the smaller pups.
- Lenses are rated UV400 and are interchangeable

For all those feisty fearless Jack Russells out there - we’ve finally got something for you! Not only are they incredibly cute but they are super strong and secure.
- Small circumference spherical lens offers a low profile fit with ample room for facial features.
- The soft durable frame contours the face and muzzle of these smaller breeds for a stable and secure fit.
- Dense, low profile foam makes the goggle comfortable for extended wear.
- Side ventilation ensures airflow and drains quickly for use in water.
- Narrow dynamic straps keep the goggle securely on the dog’s face while still allowing for full jaw motion.

Do we have Rex Specs for Chihuahuas? Yes, we do!!! These little guys need protection too. Some of these very small breeds are the most prone to eye issues. We’re pleased to finally be able to provide them the protection they need.
- These tiny spherical lenses not only look incredibly cool but they are super strong. This is certainly one of those cases of smaller is stronger. This lenses will wrap nicely around the head of a small dog but is low profile enough to not be too bulky or heavy.
- The frame is vented along the sides and top to provide airflow. Venting is covered with a durable mesh to keep out dust and debris.
- The frame is edged with thing dense foam for added comfort and protection against the elements.
- Low profile strap system is comfortable for even the smallest pups and ensures a secure fit will still allowing for full range of movement.
- All lenses are interchangeable and rated UV400
